When the VHS tapes sold on
Ebay, some 8 years ago they fetched staggering US$1600
The history of this wonderful quality set Game Set & Match
over 12 years we imported every set (11vhs tapes) cost of sets & including the incredibly high postage from almost every country in the world . add to that we paid for wanted to buy advertisements in local papers around the world.
The cost was staggering and had I had the wisdom I would never have been so stupid.
But once committed. The labour of love finally took shape
we found that almost every set was poor and a waste of huge lot of $$$
the problem in those days the TV was of a low standard and the VHS recorder had even worse limitation
Finally, we were able to edit parts from about 30 sets and obtain a reasonable full edition of Game Set & Match
Then we had to colour correct both editions Pal and NTSc so it was uniform for the entire picture
In Nov last year we again set about improving this set of Game Set & match
We colour-corrected every disc and this allowed an improvement to the focus
we even cleaned up the sound track
