Follows Frank Dux, an American martial artist serving in the military, who decides to leave the army to compete in a martial arts tournament in Hong Kong where fights to the death can occur.
Blood Sport 2
Alex (Daniel Bernhardt), a talented street fighter and thief, ends up in a tortuous prison camp after stealing an ancient ceremonial sword from wealthy Malaysian businessman Leung (Pat Morita). While there, Alex meets Sun (James Hong), who teaches him humility, self respect, and the deadliest of all fighting disciplines : THE IRON HAND. Alex also learns the meaning of honour, and promises Sun that upon his release from prison, he will fight in the Kumite. Realising he cannot recover the sword alone, Leung arranges for Alex's release from prison, with the agreement that Alex recover the sword from him. Keeping his commitment to Leung, Alex battles his way through the criminal underground, regaining the precious sword and his own lost honour. When Alex agrees to fight in the Kumite, he is unaware he would be fighting for his life against the most vicious monster ever to enter the Kumite arena: Demon (Oong Soo Han). Now, Alex must call upon his friend, Jackson (Don Gibb) and the wisdom he learned from Sun in order to win the victory in the ultimate fight: The kumite.
Bloodsport 3
Bloodsport 3 brings us back in the world of Alex Cardo (Bernhardt). This time he must battle in a fight to end all fights- The Kumite, the most vicious warrior alive -Beast. He must not only battle for his own honour, but also avenge the death of Sun, his mentor, teacher and spiritual "father", when Sun (Hong) is spitefully killed by crime boss Duvalier (Davis). In order to defeat Beast, Alex turns to Leung (Morita), to whom he was indebted in Bloodsport 2. Leung directs him to the great shaman, Makato "the Judge" to whom Alex must turn for guidance. The Judge teaches him to fully channel the energy in his mind and body in order to rout the Beast in the Kumite! Will Alex find the strength to defeat his enemies and win the Kumite? or will this be the final KO?
Bloodsport 4
When martial arts expert and cop John Keller infiltrates death row to uncover the truth behind the execution of several inmates, he joins the ranks of prisoners forced to fight in battles staged for pleasure by a sadistic warden. The best fighters are then turned over to Caesar, an eccentric underworld madman. In Caesar's secret playground, Keller discovers that he must compete in the ancient Japanese event of Kumite, where fighters from different martial arts backgrounds fight for survival. But instead of fighting for honour, Caesar's Kumite is a spectacle of violence and death aimed at entertaining the most blood thirsty audiences.
