Omschrijving
Black Magic 1949. Orson Welles, Nancy Guild, Akim Tamiroff, Valentina Cortese, Margot Grahame, Frank Latimore Joseph Balsamo (Orson Welles), a poor French gypsy with a tragic past, is taken under the wing of Dr. Mesmer (Charles Goldner), who teaches him the secrets of hypnosis. While Balsamo promises the doctor that he will use the power only to help others, he instead abuses his gift in order to steal money and forge himself a powerful reputation. Using his newfound wealth and power, he hatches a devious plan to replace French queen Marie Antoinette (Nancy Guild) with a young woman, Lorenza.
All movies are transferred directly to DVD-R disc on a demand basis from master copies of these releases. Most titles previously had a pressed release but have lapsed out of print and are now only available on these re-released MOD discs. These films listed have not been remastered to play on high definition equipment, please expect imperfections due to age of source material.
